"June 2014 was my 1st time in brazil, and I will never forget it. I saw so many beautiful things and met so many interesting people in 30 days that it seemed unreal to me. The choice to go there was influenced by the soccer world cup since it could surely make it a great place to meet people, and I wasn’t wrong…
My tour started by Rio, then I went to Salvador, Porto Seguro and finally Prado in the family house of a girl named Fernanda I met in Copacabana. Nothing was prepared, I just followed my instinct, and pushed the button “on” of my iPhone 5 & Canon 5d mark 2 when I felt it. Of course, I missed some unique moments because of an empty battery, but you have in youtube & vimeo real live moments you won’t find on TV. I have to thank my friend Jawelinho who filmed me, cause without him helping me this documentary wouldn’t exist. Next time I promise to invest in a microphone for a better audio quality, but I like the fact that people are really themselves when there’s not a big camera in front of them.
I travel for music so my mission is accomplished because I wrote many new songs there, even in portuguese, and I tried a local music genre called certaneijo. I also really enjoyed the food : feijoa tropero, brigadeiro and picañha are my favorites !
Thanks a lot for watching. I wish you all love and inspiration. We feel alive when we travel, so don’t hesitate and fly away.
Jusqu’à la libertad.”
